Cool Cool Cool vol.201 Artless design Zojoji-Temple near Tokyo tower was built in 14 century. The temple is located between my rent office and a building for ISO miller committee. I like the temple due to the contrast with Tokyo tower, modern and culture. There are a lot of O-Jizo, the stone statue and small Ksitigarbha, at the back and side of the temple. These are guardian angels for welfare of children. They have each different face. These might not well-designed at that time when these were built, but it was so lovely and brilliant. The view become more strange attraction and mysterious charm with age. That is not designed, "artlessness". Business practitioners and researchers said that design and strategy are the most important for business and human career. However, artlessness is more fascinate for me like these O-Jiso. in JP 意図しないデザイン 増上寺の右奥にお地蔵さまが見事に並んでいます。今の時期は、お盆を迎えるため風車が供えられてています。とても、かわいく、不思議な世界観を出しています。そして、圧倒される活き活きとして鮮やかさがあります。お一人お一人の表情も皆違います。ずっと、そこにいたくなるほどです。 これらは約40年前に祀られ始めたようですが、初めからこうしたデザインとなることを意図していたものではないと思います。年を重ねることで、人を引き付ける空間となっていったのでしょう。 ビジネスやキャリア形成でも、実務家も研究者もデザインや戦略が最も重要だと言います。たしかに、そうして東京タワーは建つのでしょう。でもこうしたお地蔵様達の醸し出す空間は、そういうわけにはいかないでしょう。意図せず、いつの間にか立ち現れる魅力、まさに神秘。そんなことのほうがなんか好きだなぁ。
